Hi! I'm Deb Johnson and welcome to Tobi's Pond! I have written six books so far.

 

I live in rural Minnesota, even though I was born in Los Angeles, California. I'm married, have 4 grown children and 4 grandsons, so far. I'm involved in Children's Ministry at my local church.

 

My books are Bible-based with some colorful characters who live in a pond. The main character is Tobi who transforms from a tadpole to a frog in the first book, "Tobi's Tale". In the second two books, "Tobi Travels" and "Tobi Triumphs" Tobi has some adventures. The fourth book is "Tobi's Territory" and Tobi learns about how God created everything in the book of Genesis. In the fifth book,"Teaching Tobi" he finds a Bible and a human family visits the pond, Not only does Tobi learn some things from the Bible, a friendly squirrel named Tess learns some things too. Herman the wise old turtle is always glad to share some advice from the Bible. My newest book, is "Bella Begins", and it's about how caterpillars can transfrom in a beautiful Monarch butterfly. Butterflies like Bella have something in common with Saul and all of us. It's how we can transform through receiving Jesus as our Savior as we share some of Saul's story from the Bible.
